Hot food, friendly folks, and reasonable prices - enough said! Well, how about real good breakfast food, to fill my 85 characters.
Cute little place. The food is typical diner fare and very cheap! Great for families looking for a quick bite
Definitely recommend! The service, food quality, and cleanliness is consistent at this establishment! Every time I visit my parents, I visit the diner. Again, I was NOT disappointed at ALL. Amanda was our server, she was knowledgeable, attentive, and efficient. Among the table we had friend green tomatoes, amazing! Chicken tenders were crispy and freshly cooked, with steam billowing out when we cut into them. My parents split the pork fritter sandwich, the servings are very generous! If you are traveling Hwy 27 South thru Sebring Fl, stop here, you will not be disappointed!!!
This is an Awesome classic diner!! I went for brunch and stayed for an hour! Great service and great food.
Good food, nice service and little noisy at times, but hey what diner isn't noisy. A hometown type of ambiance.
Take your time love coming here. My daughter loves the ambience and atmosphere. Very 1950s feel. Food was cooked to perfection. The coffee was hot. Great milkshakes and lunch options, we went for breakfast last time and we're super impressed. Prices are amazing and the portion size is Extra. Our waitress was Grace, super professional and very nice five stars just for her.
Great service. Never disappointed when we come here. The facility is clean and neat. My daughter loves the ambiance and atmosphere very 1950s. Great milkshakes. We went for breakfast, and the food is well worth the price and the price isn't overbearing to begin with. Food is cooked superfection, and coffee is hot to drink but not scalding to burn your mouth. Our waitress was Grace, super sweet very professional and gave us space to eat but made sure we had everything we needed five stars just for her.
I woke up this morning with a craving for a 50s Diner experience with excellent home-cooked food and I knew exactly where to go! These fine folks have been around for almost twenty-five years and they're always busy, which should tell you something. Pro Tip #1- The late Sunday morning (11ish) church crowd is insane and is to be avoided just like you would avoid a root canal with no pain meds! Pro Tip #2- They have a dinner menu, but they close at 3pm which is downright weird. That's one hell of an early dinner! Also, they're closed on Tuesday, which is definitely unusual. Arriving- Easy on and off the Northbound side of US Route 27. Plenty of parking with 2 handicapped spots very close to the entrance. Considering the number of older retirees in the area, they should probably have a couple more spaces. Atmosphere- You have three choices for seating. You've got the counter which seats about 10 which is a wonderful choice for a single diner like me. You have the dining room which has booths and assorted tables, and you have a gorgeous outside covered patio with about six tables. BTW- the whole place is spotless! Service- I've never had a problem. My drinks are always refilled appropriately, and I'm checked on at decent intervals. I'm almost always served with a smile that's occasionally strained when it gets crazy busy. My server today had worked there ten years! Food- Classic American diner food with no surprises. You'll recognize everything. The menu is quite extensive with plenty to satisfy most everyone. The majority of the food is mildly seasoned. Nothing too spicy. Foodies will be unhappy here but everyone else will leave smiling and stuffed! From this visit, you can peruse my pics of a typical breakfast. The corned beef hash is flat out amazing, and you need to try it! You can also get it as an omelet filling. Of course, the biscuit is homemade. My meal today was a little pricier than normal because I substituted sausage patties for a pile of home fries. The meal with tax set me back $16.10. Most breakfasts are less than $10. These fine folks are a staple in the Sebring area, and you really can't go wrong if you choose to visit. Just not at 11 am on Sunday!
Had breakfast, first time there. Service was exceptional, coffee hot and strong. Food came quickly, hot and pulled high. Had an omelette, and two half orders of biscuits and gravy. Could not eat it all.
